Here we go… we are now sharing a no so large update… because we have been quite busy.
First of all the end result of our renovations, pictures speak more than words. I can only say that this project was very interesting and full of surprises but nevertheless full of knowledge. Dealing with cultural aspects regarding ethics of work, efficiency and honesty was the biggest learning curve and if you wonder “aren’t you Mexican?”, let me remind you: I was born Mexican, that is it.
BEFORE (IN THE SAME ORDER FOR THE AFTER PICTURES)
AFTER
And our first guest!!!
In other aspects:
-Brian is doing great in his studies, he is an awesome student!!! He does well, focuses and delivers fantastic results… and that is my HUSBAND…
-Our own work-study schedule has not been easy… it is easier to have someone to tell you what to do… We manage well and keep busy.
-Our volunteering efforts have been very rewarding. Teaching cooking lessons to the girls at Hogar Nueva Vida has been successful so we will continue to do our best to deliver to those girls some tools that will be for sure useful. At the beginning of the next year Brian has moved some domino pieces to bring a fantastic program from the Passion Foundation to Hogar Nueva Vida in coordination with one of his cohorts from Royal Roads University. So, not only Brian is studying, he is making important things happen!!!
-Salsa lessons have been great and will continue next year for sure…
-December will be a busy month with family from Mexico and Canada. A full house that we are so looking forward to have and hope our guests get the best out of the visit.
My nephew will be spending the month of December with us under a program called “Integral Child Development” and we have been and will be focus on assisting with his development!!! We love you Luis and please remember here we are for you!!!
-Let’s see if anyone can tell me what the following pictures are about?
Regards,
Deyanira MD.
